"My colleagues from country X never meet deadlines – it's SO frustrating!"
"My manager from country Y always follows up and wants to know a lot of details relating to the tasks I’m responsible for – doesn’t she trust me?"
"We all agreed on that deadline at our meeting – but now 2 weeks later, my colleagues in country Z seem to have forgotten all about it!"
"I haven’t heard a word from my manager from country Q since our meeting – so I have no idea which tasks I should prioritize!"
The above are examples of comments I have heard SO many times when, as an intercultural coach, I’ve helped global teams with team members who have backgrounds in different work cultures and are often spread across the globe.
In fact, different understandings of time, deadlines and follow-ups are one of the most common sources of frustration in global teams!
In the video below, you can get tips on how you and your team can avoid frustration when you collaborate across different work cultures and locations.

If you try out some of the methods from the video – or have other input on how to manage deadlines in global projects – I'd love to hear about it! Send me an email at ad@c3consulting.dk.
I look forward to hearing from you!
