C3 Consulting offers in collaboration with The Leadership and Coaching Group a global leadership development programme with focus on developing an emotionally and socially intelligent leadership (EQ/SQ).

If you would like to accelerate your general leadership development as well as strengthen your global leadership competencies, this is the programme for you.

We frequently run open EQ/SQ leadership development programmes in Denmark and China. We can also tailor a programme to your organization's or management group’s specific needs.

Benefits of the EQ/SQ global leadership development programme

The programme takes place over 6-9 months with 6 days of face-to-face training and personal coaching during the whole period.

The programme is very intensive. You will be active all the time, and you continuously implement the new competencies into your workday. At the same time, due to the training methods we use you will experience the programme as simple and stress-free.

How do we do this?

The EQ/SQ leadership development programme is based on research in emotional and social intelligence within management and leadership efficiency. Research shows that up to 85 % of the differences between top-performing and other leaders may be attributed to emotional intelligence (EQ) and social intelligence (SQ).

We have extensive experience in translating the research into practical development. Some of the training methods we use are:

  • You will learn powerful coaching and delegation techniques, through a great number of exercises and theory – as well as through mentoring and coaching
  • You will learn and acknowledge a great deal about your own and others’ emotional and motivational response by ways of 360 degrees’ measurement, motivational models, reflecting teams, feedback and coaching
  • You will work with goal-oriented techniques, which create more certain goal-fulfilments for you and your employees
  • You will develop a strong self-leadership, break patterns and change your response where you wish to
  • You develop your visionary communication and drive by training a number of differentiated leadership styles

Open programmes – in Denmark and China

We frequently run open EQ/SQ leadership development programmes in Denmark and China.

On the programmes in Denmark, managers and leaders from a wide range of the largest companies in Denmark will be participating and you will build a strong network with the other participants.

The programmes in China are targeted leaders of all nationalities working in China. The participants typically consist of Danes working in China in managerial jobs and Chinese in managerial jobs in major Denmark- or Europe-based companies. The cultural dynamics in the group are an important part of the development design, and the programme provides great opportunities for exchange of knowledge and networking with the other participants.

Programme trainers

The programme’s lead trainer in Denmark as well as China is Jan Vælds. Jan has leader and top leadership experience from a number of Danish and international companies. He is internationally certified coach, is among the pioneers in the development of emotional and social intelligence, and has extensive experience with training and coaching of leaders.

On the programmes in China you will also meet managing director of C3 Consulting Annette Dahl, who as co-trainer on the programme focuses on developing and strengthening your intercultural competencies and global leadership thinking.

Programmes tailored to your organization

We can also tailor an EQ/SQ leadership development programme to meet the needs of a specific management group or a larger group of leaders across your organization.

When we design your programme, we will integrate your organization's values and strategies and we will set the training objectives, duration, time and place of the training in close collaboration with you. We can conduct the programme in any country of your choice.

The duration of a customized programme will typically be 6-12 months, and the training can, for instance, focus on personal leadership, the performance of the management team, or how to better develop and implement your strategies and values.
