With production as well as customers and partners across the world, OJ Electronics in spring 2014 wished to increase the global communication skills in the Development Department. C3 Consulting carried out a customized global communication training programme where the participants acquired tools to help them communicate with awareness, precision and efficiency in their global collaborations.

We frequently run open courses in country-specific cultural training for Danfoss, focusing on countries such as India or China. The participants on the open courses come from different departments and employee groups. This creates a dynamic atmosphere and facilitates knowledge sharing across the organization about collaborating with the specific country / culture.
The wire nail machine manufacturer ENKOTEC has customers throughout the world. A series of workshops focusing on selected markets – including Latin America, Russia, East Africa and Nigeria – has provided ENKOTEC’s employees with tools for developing an even closer dialogue with their customers globally.
In winter 2016, Grundfos IS Support & Operations Centre in Metro Manila wanted to focus on how to build a new company culture with the right mix of elements from Danish and Philippine work culture, and how to optimize communication and collaboration between Philippine employees and Danish managers. Working closely with Grundfos IS, C3 designed an interactive half-day Danish culture and global mindset workshop.
As Vestas was building a new plant in Ulyanovsk (Russia), and the employees at Vestas' plant in Daimiel (Spain) were working with their new Russian colleagues on training and knowledge transfer, C3's Russia specialist Helena Drewes was training the Russian staff in intercultural communication + Vestas' values, training the Spanish staff in Russian culture, providing intercultural training for the project managers in Denmark, and doing 1:1 intercultural coaching with the Spanish plant manager.
In connection with Siemens Wind Power's expansion in China, C3 held a number of cultural awareness workshops for the employees in Denmark who were going to have frequent contact with Chinese staff and business partners. We also provided training when Siemens Wind Power established a new wind turbine equipment factory in the U.S. state of Kansas.
In June 2012, our Hungary country specialist Dániel Gergely Szabó conducted a half-day workshop for one of Grundfos’ departments in Denmark: 'I got a lot out of this morning, and many things fell into place in regard to the contact I have with our Hungarian colleagues. NNE Pharmaplan wanted to strengthen cross-cultural communication and collaboration in the Chinese subsidiary in Tianjin. To achieve this objective, in 2009-2010 around 50 managers and middle managers from the subsidiary participated in C3’s Danish and Chinese cultural training.
To accelerate the current growth strategy, Prime Cargo was in spring 2015 acquired by the Japanese logistic provider Mitsui-Soko Group, which is headquartered in Tokyo. C3 partnered with Prime Cargo to design 3 workshops providing the participants with a nuanced understanding of the Japanese society and specific tools to optimize communication and collaboration with the Japanese owners.
As Fiberline was setting up production in China, we delivered a number of half-day Chinese cultural awareness workshops – starting with the management team and moving on to other staff groups that would be working with Chinese colleagues and business partners. At Danfoss India, a subsidiary of the Danfoss Group, a group of Indian managers and employees collaborate with colleagues located in Denmark. Danfoss India needed a fast and convenient training solution, so we decided on a 4-hour online workshop, divided into 2 sessions of 2 hours each.
At LEGO, 24 managers and employees participated in our two-months Chinese culture and language programme. Here the participants acquired practical tools to communicate and collaborate more effectively with Chinese colleagues and subcontractors. In addition, they shared valuable experiences and built a common frame of reference that has helped LEGO to further its collaboration with China.

For one manager, a busy travel schedule made it difficult to find time to meet in-person, so C3 delivered the training virtually, where and when it suited him best.
As a family of four – the assignee Jens Jørgen, his wife Charlotte and their two kids Tobias and Kristian – were preparing for an international relocation, C3 designed a cultural training programme for the entire family. The programme was spread over a six-month period and consisted of three modules: One for Jens Jørgen and Charlotte together, one for Charlotte alone and one for Tobias and Kristian.
